Make use of METRONOME while practicing!!! ............................................................................. TYPE 1: i)This exercise is to STRENGTHEN LEFT HAND FINGERINGS. ii) This all notes within 2 Bars are not to be stroke. Just place your finger one by one or all at once simply. iii) At Bar 2, a certain condition is applied: It's not as shown to put fingers at Bar 2. I have to do it or no option. You are still at position (ii). Now press 3rd and 5th fret and up/release clearly your fingers from 4th and 6th fret. Hold this position in balance for some time. Similarly, press 4th and 6th fret and up/release clearly your fingers from 3rd and 5th fret. Hold this position in balance for some time. TYPE 2 (SPIDER PLAY): i) This exercise is to STRENGTHEN+BALANCE THE MOVEMENT OF LEFT HAND FINGERINGS. ii) Play all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th fret one by one at 6th string, each note gets a strike. iii) Now while moving to 5th string, Move all fingers from 6th string to play again the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th fret of 5th string BUT one by one. For example, you move from 5th fret of 6th string to the 5th fret of 5th string while your rest of all other finger still intact in their original position (ii). Again, move your 6th fret from 6th string to 5th string while remaining finger still intact to their original position. In this way continue all. Mave each movement SLOW AND PRECISE, MOVE LIKE A SPIDER! :) TYPE 3: i) This exercise is to increase your Right Hand Fingering speed. ii) Play as Normal. ............................................................................ NOTES: i) All fingering position is in Linear fashion; p i m a e. For example, If 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th has to be played in a linear way then use i=5th fret, m=6th fret, a=7th fret and e=8th fret. ii) p= Thumb finger i= Index finger m= Middle finger a= Ring finfer e= Pinky/Little finger ............................................................................ THESE ARE SOME OF THE PARTS OF FINGERING EXERCISES WHICH I GATHERED TO PRACTICE BACK IN 2008 WHILE I WAS LEARNING GUITAR.
