Alright so I think the history on this track is a tad messy 
and convoluted... The difference between both 
version of these two tracks [Intro: Carnival of 
Souls/The Altar in "In Godly Flesh" and "Intro/The 
Altar" in Fragile Concept of Affection] is not just the 
tuning but the length of both songs together differ by 
like a minute (?!) [I intend to tab both] 

But, in the original "In Godly Flesh" version, "Intro: 
Carnival of Souls" and "The Altar" are separate 
songs.. the former supposedly being an instrumental 
clocking at 3:23 but.. after 02:00 the song has the 
lyrics attributed to The Altar in this track... so it seems 
when it was mastered unto cassette they didn't know 
when to cut off Carnival of Souls into The Altar and 
ended up with the first minute and a half [or perhaps 
more (meas. 50/52) of The Altar ending up in the first 
track which would be around 02:00 (meas. 50)

Bottomline! (But read the following block of text as 
well) Intro: Carnival of Souls should actually be around 
1:50 to 02:00 in length and The Altar around 4:32 or 
so but oh well it is how it is.. the cut off point in the 
tracks sounds rather smooth (but also really sudden) in 
the "In Godly Flesh" EP anyway but the lyrics betray 
the mistake IMO so I have tabbed it this way :-P

So I tabbed what I deem to be the segue into "The 
Altar" as a part of Carnival of Souls cause that riff 
kicks ass and fits the song well as an outro and 
transition into the 2nd track which will go in a separate 
tab [with either measure 50-63 or measure 52-63 as 
the beginning of it]

Seems like this EP is actually in C# as opposed to the 
version in The Fragile Concept of Affection which is in 
C standard [so it seems I'll have to check them against 
each other sometime.. I went with this version because 
it seems longer and the production and sound is a lot 
clearer and less muffled]
