Guitar Notes: There are a few occasion when you should let the low open strings ring out, most notably bars 50 - 52, but it's difficult to notate without messing up the playback. During bars 96 - 99 use the whammy bar to go up an octave over each music bar then release it and start over again at the start of the next music bar. This applies to both guitars written in the second staff. Bass Notes: Gtr. #1 & 2 = El. Bass played with Drop D-tuning (D, A, D, G). As always, it's kinda hard to hear what Mendez is playing (especially during the section where he plays slap bass), but I think i nailed the most of it. As always there are loads of improvs involved so i didn't transcribe all the little variations that he's playing. But play it with loads of improvs yourself! :) Enjoy! Drum Notes: I don't play drums, but to my ear it's probably 95% accurate.

Stay with me a while,
Rise above the vile.
Name my final rest,
Poured into my chest.
Into the orchard i walk peering way past the gate.
Wilted scenes for us who couldn't wait.
Drained by the coldest caress, stalking shadows ahead.
Halo of death, all i see is departure.
Mourner's lament but it's me who's to martyr.
Pledge yourself to me ,
Never leave me be,
Sweat breaks on my brow,
Given time ends now.
Into the orchard i walk peering way past the gate.
Wilted scenes for us who couldn't wait.
Drained by the coldest caress, stalking shadows ahead.
Halo of death, all i see is departure.
Mourner's lament but it's me who's to martyr.
Spirit painted sin,
Embers neath my skin,
Veiled in pale embrace,
Reached and touched my face.
Into the orchard i walk peering way past the gate.
Wilted scenes for us who couldn't wait.
Drained by the coldest caress, stalking shadows ahead.
(Release your grip)
Halo of death, all i see is departure.
(and let me go)
Mourner's lament but it's me who's to martyr.
(into the night)
