The tail part of the guitar solo (section 7.2) is REALLY 
hard to work out.  On the record, it sounds like Josh is 
doing some weird bend/whammy bar trickery with 
single notes in conjunction with the wah pedal.  
When he plays it live though, he does it by playing a 
series of really fast shred runs at different positions on 
the neck, and the wah makes it blur together like on 
the album version.  I don't know if he's playing in a 
particular scale, or if it's just random notes that are 
meant to sound chaotic, but I'm sure you could figure 
out the approximate positions of each run if you cared 
to.
