The Battle of Chibi - also known as the Battle of the Red Cliffs (208 AD) The allegiance of Sun Quan and Liu Bei repelled Cao Cao's southern expedition. Wei suffered heavy losses when Cao Cao mistakenly commanded to chain up all his ships to make a solid ground for naval battle which triggered Huang Gai to start a fire attack.
