This technique is called "sliding" or "panning" harmonics. With your left hand, you trill between 2 frets. The open and 2nd fret of the D string will do. While trilling with your left hand, lightly touch the string with the fleshy part of your palm on your right hand and start sliding down (towards the headstock). All of the harmonics of the open string will ring out as your hand glides over them.If you're having trouble you're probably pushing in too hard. Use very light pressure with your right hand as you slide down and keep trilling with your left.
