supported only so long as my mind was the enemy.

当自己成为自己的敌人, 导向便一望而知

I could not in conscience hold on.

但我只得艰难前行





As we face distress we must not lose heart.

面对痛苦, 勿心孤意怯

Stand fast and press on, 

坚守阵地, 继续战斗

triumph awaits.

You call this shameful disbelief,

a process like losing my closest friend.
