Epiphone celebrates the 50th anniversary of the British Invasion with the return of one of its most iconic and original designs, the Ltd. Ed. G-1275 6-string and 12-string Doubleneck. The Ltd. Ed. G-1275 Doubleneck once again makes one of rock’s most iconic instruments available to the world at a price anyone can afford. The G-1275 is based on the vintage original “1235” Doubleneck that was first produced at the legendary Gibson/Epiphone Kalamazoo, Michigan factory in 1963. It quickly became one of the most sought-after and original guitars in rock. It was not only embraced by British rockers like Pete Townshend of the Who, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, and John McLaughlin but also Elvis Presley and bluesman Earl Hooker. When Epiphone first reintroduced the Doubleneck, it too became a legend thanks to The Flaming Lips. Now, it’s back again with that one-of-a-kind sound at an affordable price. The SG Story
