Jimmy Eat World, the group — one of the best pop punk bands of all time — have officially detailed that LP. It’s called Integrity Blues and is due out October 21st through RCA Records. Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Paramore) is credited as producer.
After a couple of days off, the band will head across the pond for the European leg of the Integrity Blues tour. The European leg will kick off on Nov. 4 at the Guildhall in Southampton, England, and will wrap up a couple of weeks later on Nov. 20 at The Academy in Birmingham, England. The tour announcement comes a couple of weeks after frontman Jim Adkins spoke with BBC Radio 1 DJ, Daniel P. Carter. During their chat, the singer revealed that there would in fact be a slew of tour dates in support of their ninth studio album.
"Imagine that this is just the beginning of what hopefully will be a healthy, full, extended touring pattern of coming to [the] U.K. and playing all over the place," Adkins told Carter at the time. "I can't wait to play the new songs for people; the record release date can't come soon enough."
