Saliva warn potential adversaries to stay away on the aggressive new song 'Badass,' from their upcoming album 'Under Your Skin.'
"When I see red all I need is a reason to set me off," singer Josey Scott cautions on verses that feature his distorted vocals atop a chugging metal guitar riff.
If that warning isn't enough to cause rivals to keep their distance, the chorus brings heavier guitars and rap vocals in which the band screams home the point:
"Cause I'm a badass and you don't wanna clash / Cause your mouth's writing checks that your face can't cash / Cause I'm a badass and this war is your last / You just crossed my path and I'll drop you fast."
'Badass' is a serious upgrade in intensity from Saliva's last single 'Nothing,' which was more of a breakup ballad. Both tracks appear on 'Under Your Skin,' which will see a March 22 release. 'Badass' also made an appearance on the 'Saw 3D' soundtrack.
Saliva will hit the road in support of the new album as part of the HardDrive Live 'Spring Fling' Tour, starting April 13 in Broussard, La.
