The Hands That Thieve is the upcoming fifth studio album by the American rock band Streetlight Manifesto. In addition to the new Streetlight Manifesto album, an acoustic version of the album is being released by Toh Kay called The Hand That Thieves.The album was originally set to be released in the summer of 2012, but was pushed due to label problems. It was then set to release on November 6, 2012, but was again pushed back to January 2013 due to rewrites.The band announced mid-January that they had completed the album and released two sample tracks, stating that the band was waiting to hear from Victory Records about its release;the album was not released in January.For compensation for all the delays of the album, the band is also putting out a live EP. The band said on their website: "...we will be including a free live EP CD that we recorded on the “Hands That Thieve Tour” last fall. The free live EP will be an exclusive RISC Store gift and is the only professional live Streetlight Manifesto recording to date."On February 15 it was announced that the album would be released on April 30.On April 1st, the band released the first full song from the album "The Three of Us". On April 19 the album was leaked on many sites.
