Sacred Reich is among my top handful of long-lived metal bands. This retrospective CD gives solid evidence of their strongest points; contributing and lyrical leads, understandable lyrics and plenty of bottom end. As a metal head from way back it is invigorating to hear this collection that offers more heaviness than ostentation. The production is very good for this live album, with the unfortunate clear exception of their signature tune, "Surf Nicaragua." Phil Rind's vocals drop noticeably in level immediately after he introduces the song.
