When BB Brunes hit the scene in 2007 with their first album, Blonde Comme Moi, they joined the ranks of fellow "bébés rockers" (the new, young generation of French rockers all under the age of 18) the Plastiscines and Second Sex. However, BB Brunes' debut album differs from those of the other bébes rockers in that the group members sing mostly in their native language: French. Featuring the singles "Le Gang" and "Dis-Moi," the album features fast basslines that are fit for a party. The group's Brit-pop influence is apparent and the energy is on full blast throughout every angst-ridden track.
