From the Depths of Dreams is the first EP by Senses Fail, released on August 16, 2002 on ECA Records. It originally started as two three-song demo CDs, but was later joined together to make one release by producer John Naclerio. The CD was released with new artwork and two bonus tracks on April 29, 2003 on Drive-Thru Records. The album is heavily influenced by post hardcore and emo music and the lyrics also contain allusions to Buddhist philosophy, as evident in the songs "Free Fall Without a Parachute" and "Dreaming a Reality". The album has so far sold 250,000 copies. [1] The album was released as a 12" vinyl on brown wax, although vinyl copies were produced in very limited numbers.
